Moe & Crow - - - but why ?
For enquiring minds.....this is my favorite picture of me n' hubs. It's amazingly spot-on.

I keep looking at this picture - I told you it was my favorite - and trying to remember how I got my nickname, Moe. I know how Crow got his...and people really did call him Crow. When the nieces and nephews were little, he would hook his thumbs together like bird's wings, and "caw" for them, and dive-bomb them to their utter delight. To this day (they're in their 20s ), he is Uncle Crow. Could it be Moe, or Auntie Moe as I'm known in some circles, was just a good rhyming alternative to my real name. Just to add to the confusion - - at one time, and for a number of years, I was known as Sam. I'm not sure how I got that one either. Hm-m-m. I think I'll go have me some more think. Ta

i was supposed to be named sam, if i was a boy (after my greatgrandfather). moe so glad i was a girl.

My cousin married a Stephanie and every once in a while I would here people call her Sam, finally I asked why and it was because at work they had to initial everything and hers were s.a.m.
I thought they called you Moe cause you mo funny and lovin' than anyone else around!

) My nickname is Allie McNally... my mom (indigolady) gave it to me a long time ago. Also my sis and I have complimentary nicknames, mine's brattley and hers is buttley, but only the family can use those. They're special.
i have to admit here how effected i was on the morning of december 9th of 1980. i was getting ready to go to work that tuesday morning at the court of civil appeals (i think it was a tuesday - cause of that monday night football game i didn't see with howard cosell announcing it). richard called from his job (he left very early mornings) before i left for work. he told me about john. i cried halfway down central expressway on the way to work. then i detoured and went back home. called in heartsick. the judges didn't understand, i'm sure.
but it didn't matter. it was a dark time in history.
though i have never seen you, i can definitely see you with that smartass browline.
